Personal & Professional Background

 

Chris Valliere is partner and Chief Technology Officer for HydraCor.  He joined the team in 2010 assuming responsibility for technology development and operations.

In 2011, he was promoted to Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for managing all technology and development staff as well as ensuring that AdvoCor software is seamlessly integrated among hospital clients and is compliant with the latest HIPAA and data privacy laws.  In addition, Chris manages all product development cycles and serves as the main technology liaison between HydraCor and its clients.

From 1998-2002, he served in the U.S. Navy as an Information Systems Technician on board the 7th Fleet Flagship USS Blueridge (LCC19). Upon leaving the Navy, he worked in IT and technical support for various companies including Intelitek in Manchester, NH and UMass Amherst’s Athletics Department.

He studied computer science at UMass Lowell, holds a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an Associate Degree in Paramedic Technology from Quinsigamond Community College.

As a paramedic, Valliere is no stranger to hospitals, healthcare or emergency medicine, having practiced from 2007 to 2011 before joining the team.

He resides in Haverhill with his wife and two sons. In his spare time, Chris is a member of the NAF IT Advisory Board at Haverhill High School and enjoys making contributions to open source software and playing the latest video games.
